| Description | Mango Season is an eclectic mix of west coast 70's pop, jazz and bossa nova rhythms, combined with island style song writing that is deeply rooted in place and the culture of Hawaii. The trio draws upon the syncopated rhythms of R&B, the soaring vocal harmonies of traditional Hawaiian music married with slack-key grooves and the classic island sounds of Kalapana and Cecillo & Kapono. Their music is has the famillar feel of a favorite tune on the tip of the toungue blended with the light mellow touch of the tradewinds.
